This was one incredibly odd and fun Evil Eye album, and the first to be put into the CD format (I got a CD burner around that time). "Omake" is a Japanese word meaning "bonus", and I thought it would be fun to put some bonuses in this album. (Without the omake, Bug is about the length of an EP). The omake tracks feature my
nephew Cameron (4 yrs old at the time), screaming and laughing and being a weirdo, which
was then slowed down a lot, so the voices sound very strange!
One thing I did on this album that I wouldn't do now was including a couple not-very-good remixes of two of my then-favorite musicians. I still like to remix, but I keep it
totally separate from my original tracks. Anyway, that aside, I love this album.
