BURNING BRIGHT 2006 ✦ mdigital photos, CG, Wacom ✦ digital illustrated-photography    For part of this image, I used a shot I took of one of the San Francisco Zoo's tigers, Tatiana. Just 4 days after I took the picture, as I was making this illustrated-photo, I read on CNN that she mauled a zookeeper! Ouch! About a year later, she escaped from her pen and killed a guy who was taunting her, and was put to sleep. R.I.P. Tatiana. She was a beautiful animal. If you go to a zoo, have respect for the animals there, please, and don't torment them.
