It was around this time that I started really getting into Sharpies as a primary tool in my art. I would purposely not take a very large variety of art suppiles in my bag so that I could force myself to work under more limitations. Nowadays, when I make the Sharpie pictures, I very rarely make pencil rough drafts, so I think it was a good excercise.
