NINJA SLAYER KILLS 2014-2018 ✦ CG, Wacom, marker, publisher-provided artwork ✦ manga lettering   In a change from previous titles that I lettered for Kodansha (Sankarea and Maria The Virgin Witch), I opted to retain the original sound effects in Ninja Slayer Kills and have done so on other titles ever since. Instead of replacing the sfx entirely, I added inline translations for them, done in a style that is harmonious with the original sfx style. Ninja Slayer Kills required a lot of complex touch-up and relettering of some environmental text, such as screens, and the book also used a wide variety of fonts, for different characters voices, some robotic, some demonic. It's a very action-packed and crazy book!
